About Hybrid & Electric Vehicles

Ford has been perfecting electric vehicle technology
for more than a decade. In fact, Ford was the first to introduce a
hybrid SUV.

Today Ford continues to lead both the present and
the future of electric vehicle development with our hybrid electric
vehicles (available now) as well as eventual releases of plug-in hybrid
electrics and all electric vehicles. All of our hybrid and electric
vehicles feature a Regenerative Braking System, enabling your vehicle to
capture braking energy and store it for later use.

ecoboost

About EcoBoost™

More power, better performance and reduced CO2
emissions. All without sacrificing efficiency. That’s what you get with
the state-of-the-art technology behind EcoBoost™.

EcoBoost™ combines direct injection with
turbocharged performance to give you instant low-end torque and
virtually no turbo lag. Direct injection produces a cooler, denser
charge that generates more power per every drop of fuel, while the
design of the small air-to-air intercooled turbochargers spool up much
more quickly than a large turbo. The best part? It also happens to be
better for the environment.

Government Rebates

To further enhance consumer’s interest in electric
vehicles, some provincial governments have launched rebate programs.
These point-of-sales rebates are applied before tax as cash incentives
and are a great way to help customers transition to an electric
lifestyle.
